FRINGE: 1.04 – The Arrival Recap

Fringe is back, and what an episode! We start this episode off in a diner.  You see this creepy bald guy with no taste in food who ordered something nasty, but thats not the point.  This guy was writing something down in his notepad in a different language. Let’s just say it wasn’t an earthly language.

Is he an alien? The only other option is it’s a child language he created when he was younger, and could never let it go.  Anyways, there he was eating a nasty sub sandwich, and jotting down strange notes.  He busted out his cool futuristic binoculars, that had some awesome technology built-in (I want one of those!)  After scoping out some construction workers, an explosion of some kind went off, and off the bald man left.  He put on his Men in Black suit and walked to the site and said “It has arrived.”  OOOOOh, what is it?

Meanwhile Walter is blurting out the chemical formula for root beer at 3AM.

Broyles, the other creepy man in this episode ordered the team together at the construction site.  Walter ordered the bullet-like thing back to his lab for further investigation.  Meanwhile, a guy jumped out of a science fiction film, and started blasting people away with a pulse-ray gun, or something.  He was obviously looking for the thingy-mabob.

In the middle of the night, Olivia got a phone call from…….Walter, telling her the formula to Dr. Pepper! oh wait, no, it was John! She hears dead people!  After trying to trace it, she found out that according to phone records, there hasn’t been a call placed to her home in three hours.

Olivia went through some pictures, and saw a picture of the creepy bald guy from the beginning.  She recognized him from another picture she saw before.  She took that information to Broyles, and he confirmed that the guy was in fact creepy.  He’s been sighted all over the place when it comes to strange phenomena, he is called “The Observer.”

Well Walter thought it might be a good time to have a root beer float with The Observer.  I guess they are old pals.  He thanked Walter for hiding the thingy-mabob, and that all his questions would be answered soon……..waaaa?

Okay, so theres something you should know.  The guy from Sci-fi movies with the weird gun, also has the ability to read your mind.  Well, after he hooks you up to a machine and frys your brain.  So he was able to get a hold of Peter.  He wanted the location of the beacon his father hid, but Peter didn’t know where it was.  Though sci-fi guy was able to extract the location from Pete’s head, which was extrememly weird.

So he took Peter to a graveyard, and dug up a grave, found the beacon.  Good thing Olivia came up out of nowhere, and shot the guy in the back.  The only problem was, before she could get the beacon, it made itself vanish into earth’s crust, going somewhere, never to be seen again.  Then Peter had a run in with old creepy face, and this guy could read Peter’s mind.  Knew everything he was going to say……….WEIRD.

So now the day is over, and Peter asked Walter how he knew where the beacon was hidden when he really didn’t.  Walter told him it was because of osmosis and proximity, and that the creepy observer saved both their lives when he was just a little boy.  Which means when he read Walter’s mind, Walter’s and Peter’s mind could have meshed together…just a theory.

Then at the end, Olivia ran into John……..AHHH CREEPY

“Really!? Did somebody order drivethrough? Were you just thinking of what to say while driving up to the window?! When I crash through the window I’ll jump out of the car and say, “DID SOMEBODY ORDER DRIVETHROUGH!?!?!?”

That’s right, Chuck fans! Chuck is back.  It seems like years have passed since our beloved secret carrying geek was last seen.  This episode kicks right off with the guy well known for his role in “The Green Mile” was seen dangling Chuck off a building.  It wasn’t long before Casey and Sarah saved the day.  It appeared, the whole incident was about the Cypher, which is known to be the next device that powers the intersect, which meant once that’s booted up, Chuck is scheduled to die.  But he doesn’t know that. He thinks he is free!

So it’s happy-go-lucky time for Chuck.  He thinks that his life is back on track, plays a little music in the morning.  Does a little dance, and runs into Captain Awesome naked in the shower.  After that little incident, he told his sister that his there will be big changes in his life soon, so he’s going to sieze the day…or whatever.  At Buy More, he bumped into Casey, and told him that he’d miss him, and thanked him for what he’s done.  This obviously put guilt into Casey, cause he was the hitman hired to kill Chuck.  Then the manager offered Chuck the assistant manager job, but he didn’t take it.  His punishment was to decide who would be the new assistant manager.

Still on his happy pills, Chuck went to see Sarah at her new job at “Orange, Orange.” An obvious rip-off of Orange Julius.  He just came up and asked her on a real date.  I was surprised, but she accepted.  Aww. So cute.  Something is bound to go wrong, but comeone! Let me enjoy this moment…….ahhh okay, lets move on.

At Casey’s place, a “UPS” man comes.  He is there to pick up the Cypher, so when he gives him the Cypher, the UPS man passed gas on Casey.  What? He did!  On their date, the two love-birds were giggling over random stuff, Sarah forced Chuck to tell her everything that’s great about her.  Chuck said, “I wonder what Casey would think about this.” Sarah replied “It would probably kill him.”

Meanwhile, Casey was dying from the gas the poisoned him. He was able to save himself.  The first thing he did was activate Chuck’s homing device.

At the restaurant, right before he and Sarah kiss, he conveniantly has one of his episodes.  Everyone in the restaurant was a bad guy.  The guy from “Green Mile” showed up again, and introduced himself as Mr. Cult.  Before anything else happened, Casey drove through the glass, and shouted out, “Somebody order drive-through?” LOL.

So now the bad guys have the Cypher again, and Chuck is back to being Chuck.  No more happy pills, just good old Chuck.  Today, he had to begin doing those interviews for assistant manager.  While doing his interviews, he flashed on one of Casey’s scars, it told him where their hideout is.  He told Casey, but for some reason, he didn’t feel like going into action right away.  Chuck was able to convince Casey to get off his butt and go to work, so off they went to Orange Orange.  Chuck layed the responsibility of finding a new assistant manager to Morgan.  Apparently his way of hiring a new employee is to have an employee fight off in the backroom’s cage.  LOL

Casey and Sarah end up at the location Chuck gave them, but it was too late, Mr. Cult was already gone.  At Buy More, Chuck got an emergency computer call from you guessed it, Mr. Cult.  He got Chuck alone, with no one to help him.  This is where Chuck actually makes a genius move.  He impersonates a CIA agent, telling him the agents are surrounding the building.  He even called Morgan, who gave off the stats from their video game, which made Mr. Cult believe Chuck.  Giving him time to get away with the Cypher.

Still running away from Mr. Cult, Chuck was caught in a jam, and Cult caught up, and through him off the roof, Sarah saw this and freaked out.  But when Chuck fell, Casey was below and was able to catch him.  On the rooftop, Sarah and Mr. Cult fight it out.  Pretty good fight, too.  Then Chuck showed up with about 20 CIA agents or so, still looking like he is a CIA agent after all.

Now that Chuck got the Cypher back, Casey was ordered to kill Chuck again.  So that night, Casey broke into Chuck’s home and crept down the stairs, his silent pistol ready in hand.  He was just about to kill Chuck when Sarah showed up at his house.  They were about to go on a second date, but she said she has to cancel, because the Cypher was failed, and Chuck is once again the intercept.  So Casey backed off.

I am glad to see Chuck again, but man, Monday nights are busy.  I have four hours of television to watch, then write recaps…..I am exhausted.  I’ll see you guys next week, Peace out!

It’s Heroes time everyone! Heroes is back again, and like any Heroes episode, this one was completely packed.  So lets get right to it!

Last time we left Heroes, we learned that Angela Petrelli is apparently Sylar’s mom.  Well they continued this story a bit further, explaning that she gave him up for adoption.  That’s just too weird for me, but whatever. It’s Heroes.  Since Sylar has been captured, Angela noticed that he needed to be fed, so she offered him an innocent super-hero to take her power.  Is Angela good or bad?

Villains:

The villains that escaped level five last week, fly under the radar this episode by robbing a bank.  Well not really, it seems they are only doing this to get The Company’s attention, so they can kill whoever comes. Which is HRG and Sylar, but I’ll get to that in a little bit.  Peter’s identity was found out by one of the other villains.

HRG/Sylar:

HRG’s first partner was the man who could turn invisible.  His latest was the Hatian.  Now Angela told him his newest partner would be none other than Sylar! What!?!  HRG was in about the same amount of surprise as me, as he said he did not like that idea, because Sylar was a monster, but he really had no choice.  Papa Bennett and Sylar were now partners.

HRG and Sylar got the call about the hostage situation at the bank, so off they went.  At the scene, Sylar actually put on a pretty good act pretending to be a FBI agent.  Pretty histarical.  So their first step was to get someone inside that bank, HRG decided it would be him.  Stupid idea, retard, you have no powers, and Sylar is a homocidal maniac with a ton of powers, think that through!  Oh well, HRG is stubborn.  So in he went.

Inside, Mr. Bennett was taken hostage with the others, just what they planned.  They were about to kill him when Peter yelled at them to stop, this is when we realize Peter’s new ability, sound manipulation.  His yells were equal to punches, and they knocked out all the villains.  Just than, time stopped, and future Peter took modern-Peter out of Jesse.  So now, Jesse was about to kill HRG, but Sylar intervened, saving HRG’s life.  They actually made an okay team.

While they were finishing up stuff at the bank, Sylar backstabbed HRG, locking him outside while he killed Jesse for his power.  He said that he could never be anything more than a cold-blooded killer.  Now THAT’S the Sylar I like!

Hiro/Ando:

In Japan, Hiro and Ando were still after the Speedster that Hiro called “Nemesis.”  They told her to give up the second half of the formula, she said no…just filler really.  Then all their powers stopped as a familiar face walked by with a briefcase, the Hatian!

Later, Hiro and Ando treat themselves to a movie, and the Speedster was also there, interupting the movie.  They bikkered a little, [I swear they are going to get married.]  Then, look who was also enjoying Godzilla, or whatever those Japanese people watch these days, the Hatian was at the movies too, going out the back door, so off they went to spy.

While spying they put together a plan to steal the briefcase, because it had to be important.  So amazingly they were actually able to get it, just before Speedster stole THAT away too.  I don’t like her character.  She’s mean.

Parkman:

Parkman is still out in the middle of no where with the crazy African version of Isiaac Mendez.  He showed him several future painting of Parkman’s life.  He also showed him a painting of what would have been had he not have changed the past, so he had to remove the painting, and re-paint.  He put his walkman on and went to work.  When he was done, it was a painting of Parkman, carrying a girl that appeared to be dead.  My guess..it’s Speedster. At the end we see the African guy put the headphones on Parkman, and it seems he could see the future as well….weird..

Claire:

After half the episode of Claire whining about not being able to save the world, her mom brough her into a storage container.  Much like the same container that Peter was found in last season’s premiere.  Her training was simple, survival.  She burnt the inside of the container, making it difficult for Claire to breathe, taking out all the oxygen.  Good training, but why wasn’t her mom sweating or losing any breath? Plot hole….

Nikki

After testing out her cool new super power, she consulted Nathan, asking him who this Nikki person is.  He has nothing to say, because to him, she is Nikki.  So she sets off to find more answers.  She showed up at her own funeral, or rather the real Nikki.  Which means she can only be Jessica, or….a twin?  But she met up with Nikki’s son.  He knew right off the bat she wasn’t his mother, but he felt confortable enough to show off his power.  He used it to help her find more things out.  Apparently she and Nikki had the same doctor, so OFF she went to meet with Dr. Strange..or whatever. When she showed up at Dr. Strange’s house, he told her that he created her….what now?

PRISON BREAK: 4.06 – Blow Out Recap

Last week on Prison Break, the gang set out to find the third computer card.  Gretchen escaped her prison after smelling what could only be described as “The smell of death.”  Lastly, the General found out that Don Self has been looking into him.  On with this weeks episode!

We kick off tonight’s episode with a bang! The whole gang were in progress of what looked like a very elaborate plan to snatch the next piece of Scylla.  The entire beginning segment of the episode never stopped it’s action, very exciting.  To make a long story short, the gang were at a horse racing derby, and their plan was to get to the manager’s office to plant Roland’s device.

Was the manager involved in the company? No, actually, they made sure that one of the horses gates got jammed when opening, so the man that worked for the company would get angry enough to go to the manager’s office.  A brilliant plan.  Well done, Michael. [Quick observation: This is the 4th out of 6 cards needed for Scylla in six episodes.  What will happen in the show when they get the rest of the cards?] Now to get the device back, that was Mahone’s job, but something went screwy, and before you knew it, he was getting caught by the police in a restricted area. So he was arrested with the device the team needed.

In what looked like Pleasantville, Gretchen showed up at her sister’s house.  She explained that she was stranded in the desert for quite a while, and had to walk the whole way.  I am sure glad that T-Bag didn’t eat her. Things like that can happen in the desert.  After a quick hot shower, she was ready for some action.  She busted out a gun she had hidden in her sister’s house, which scared her sister.  Then we learned the little girl her sister was taking care of was actually Gretchen’s daughter…wow.  Saying her goodbyes, she was off, a girl on a mission.

At Gate Co., things are beginning to look a little sketchy on T-Bag’s end.  To keep his job there, he had to fill out some paperwork on his clients, but one of his superiors came in telling him that there was an inconsistency with his work, it seemed the social security numbers his clients gave him were all fake.  He got away with that, but my guess is that he won’t be able to stay there for much longer.

Meanwhile, Don was informed about Mahone’s arrest, but he had to cut the call short, because there was a pesky IT guy sitting at his desk without authorization. We learned later that this IT guy was really a man that works for The Company, and was there keeping an eye on Don.

At the police station, Don showed up ready to bail Mahone out, but since he hit a police officer, he couldn’t do it.  So he had Mahone sign a release form for his possessions, so they could get Roland’s device now, and figure out everything else later.

At the federal building, Wyatt showed up to give Don a friendly hello. He told him that The General likes his privacy. Don told Mike that he had a conversation with Wyatt, which made him realise that if he can get to him, he can get to Mahone, which makes Mahone a liability, and he may need to be killed.  Michael wasn’t ready to accept that just yet.

At Gate Corporation, T-Bag found some more bird book clues.  It seemed he found a closet room that was the exact same dimensions that were in the book.  This room, I’m guessing is very important, which means he’s getting close.  This room reminded me of the storage room in Season 1 the gang used to dig a hole.  Ahh, the glory days.

At Mahone’s court hearing, Wyatt showed up.  He wasn’t the only one, Sara also came, as well as Sucre.  Something was obviously up.  You guessed it, another genius plan put together by Michael.  They took over the power for the court building.  They increased the power, making all the lights go out, giving Sucre and Sara enough time to get Mahone out unnoticed.  Incredible.  As they were escaping, Wyatt very convincingly pointed his finger at Mahone, pantomiming pulling a trigger.  Hey, it’s more scary than taunting a victim with lemonade.

Back at Gate, T-Bag was approached again by his superior.  He told him that he found even more inconsistencies in his report.  He was caught as a fraud, and had to run.  The closet room will have to wait for a later episode.  At the end, at Whistler’s hideaway spot, Gretchen ran into T-Bag.  Apparently, she has never met him before.  I never thought about that. Cue the end credits.

Next week, it seems the show is going to get even more like the Oceans 11 movies, as the gang sets off to Las Vegas.  This should be interesting.

Back in 1997, over a decade ago, a new sensation sweeped the nation.  This sensation was a teenage girl named Buffy Summers, played by Sarah Michelle Geller.  Buffy is no ordinary girl, she fights evil things such as vampires, demons, and lots of other evil things only seen in “The X-Files.” It’s not only Buffy who has the strange name, her friends Willow, Xander, and Giles also have never-before heard of names.  Also her nemesis, Cordelia.  Whatever happened to Bob or Bill?

The first season was only twelve episodes long, but was good enough to get a new season 6 times over.  This first season was about “The Master,” an underground vampire who is weak, and throughout the season, he is trying to gather strength to I guess, take over the world?  Buffy, meanwhile, is training to become the slayer she is destined to be.

So far the show isn’t quite as good as I’ve heard it WILL be.  It has six more seasons to prove itself to me, and so far, it’s alright.  I’ve most definitely seen better, but that is to be expected.  This was only the first season, I’ll catch you when I finish season two, peace out.

THE MENTALIST: 1.01 – Pilot review

I just got finished watching the premier episode of CBS’s new fall drama, “The Mentalist.” What’s my general opinion of it? I like it!  The idea of the show has been done before, maybe some of you may recognize similarities between this show and USA’s comedy show, “Psych.”

If you are a fan of Psych, than imagine Psych ten years in the future, and Shawn has stopped being an immature wise-crack, and became serious.  Stopped pretending to be a psychic, you would get “The Mentalist.”  Patrick Jane, the star character in this series has the same ability Shawn Spencer has, he even made a living off of pretending to be a psychic, and working as a psychic consultant to the police…everything matches.  I actually think they made that part because of Psych.

Other than the similarities between the two show, The Mentalist itself is actually very good.  Basically, he observes little things that most people wouldn’t notice, and makes sense of everything.  It’s quite intelligent actually.  The first episode was about a serial killer case that he personally has been working on for several years.

The serial killer they are after happens to be the same serial killer that murdered his family years before.  At the end, they catch the guy, but personally, I think they shouldn’t have.  It would have built up a perfect season with Patrick struggling to catch his families killer.  Either or, I enjoyed it.  I’ll tune in when the next episode airs. Peace out!

This episode kicked off on Clark Kent’s first day working for the Daily Planet.  I’m excited! This is pretty big for Smallville.  I liked this episode…a lot. A lot of things happened that I’ve been waiting for way too long. Anyways.  Clark showed up for his first day of work in, yeah…flanel.  The first thing I’m thinking is, I like that he’s working for the Daily Planet…but I’ve never seen Clark Kent, reporter, wear flanel.  NO WORRIES THOUGH, Lois read our thoughts and got Clark some nice dress clothes to wear, blue, of course.

Out of no where, a bomb goes off somewhere outside the Daily Planet.  The force alone was enough to knock Lois into Clark’s hands…teehee.  Clark set her upright, and sped off to save people.  You heard me right.  SAVE PEOPLE.  It’s about time!  Apparently there was a bus bomb…but not really…I’ll explain later.  To the right, you’ll see Clark ripping open a bus to save the people inside.  2 quick quesions: Do the people in the bus not see Clark using super-human abilities? and What about the people outside the bus…in plain sight? Anyways.  Among the people he saved was a 15-year old girl who DC comic fans will recognize as Plastique, to others, she’s just a girl.  And the other person he saved was Tess Mercer.

Chloe is also in Metropolis when this all went down.  In fact, Chloe spotted Plastique walking around in pain, so she went to help her out, and called a paramedic to help her out.  The paramedic, Davis Bloom, will also be a new recurring character this season.  Clark is still carrying around people, but the Daily Planet needed him.

At the Daily Planet, Clark was informed that “the boss” wanted to see him.  Guess who his boss is? Since Lex isn’t in the show anymore, it’s obvious that Tess would take his place at the Daily Planet.  She said she knew about his and Lex’s friendship, and that Lex “told her everything about you” (Clark).  She wondered if he knew where Lex was, like last week, Clark still didn’t know where Lex was.  When he left, Tess told her assistant that she would be keeping a close eye on him personally.

So at the hospital, Chloe offered her home to the 15 year-old girl she met earlier.  She said no at first, but warmed up to the thought. Out in Metropolis again, Lois and Clark investigate what happened further.  Lois wanted to get through the crime scene tape, but they wouldn’t let her.  Clark used his super-hearing to overhear there was no bomb.  Which led him to believe a meteor freak caused the explosion.

So obviously, his first step was to ask one of the victims of the explosion if they saw anything strange.  So lets ask…the 15 year old girl..of course.  She didn’t understand what he was talking about, and he told her about the meteor infected people, and she said that her friend Tony could have done it.  So it’s off to see Tony.  He freaked out when they were about to question him, and he ran, but he was cornered.  Just then a barrell next to him exploded.  We saw that Plastique here, killed him.  I knew it all along.

At the Isis Foundation, Chloe was struggling with a lightbulb, and who else to help her than…..Davis Bloom! Of course!  Anyways, there was a little bit of romantic tension here, but Chloe ended that showing him her engagement ring.  Which he automatically thought she was engaged to Clark, LOL.

Investigating some more, Lois and Clark are trying to find evidence that Tony was in fact, meteor infected.  It turns out there was no meteor rocks in his blood stream which only means, it was “Psycho Spice” as Chloe put it.

At Chloe’s apartment Psycho Spice was getting upset, had some fire in her eyes, and couldn’t control her power, though she was trying.  She told Chloe that some very bad people were after her, we the viewer know she’s talking about 33.1.  Chloe tried to tell her that she understood, but there was no stopping Psycho Spice, so Chloe bolted, and was almost killed, but Clark saved her life..phew!

After everything has cleared up a bit, Clark confronted Chloe about her engagement.  She said the reason she never told him was because she didn’t want the things between her and Clark to change yet, and it will when she gets married.  Clark reassured her that everything’s okay.

At 33.1, or some other prison, Tess showed up to meet Plastique.  She told her she wants her on a team of “heroes”.  Which actually means villains, which actually means the Anti-Justice League.  Interesting.

At the very end, here we go.  Most people know that there is a secret to Davis Bloom’s character, some people don’t, but the point is, he’s supposed to be Doomsday, so my guess is it is like a Hulk-like thing.  Chloe called him to thank him for some things, and told him to be safe, and we see him lying in teh middle of the street, with something under his head trying to get out!

The all-time best picture ever

Overall…this was a great episode, lots of great Lois and Clark investigation scenes, I’ve been waiting for that forever.  Also, great scenes of Clark being a hero.  I’m actually excited for next week, peace out!

“Dude…where’s the pie?” ~ Dean

Last week on Supernatural, we learned that Dean has a little guardian angel watching over him.  In tonights episode, we learned why everything is happening.  And it’s one heck of a shocker.

The episode started off showing us Olivia, another hunter in the majority of hunters in the world.  She wakes up to some strange mojo happening, so naturally, she grabbed a gun out of her stash of weapons and went to work.  In front of her, a strange man appeared staring at her.  So she shot him, he vanished.  Then he reappeared, and so did a woman, these obviously weren’t demons, because salt did not effect them.  The weird people then killed her.  Cue “Supernatural” logo.

So, now we’re introduced to our golden boys, Sam and Dean, once again arguing about the angel. Dean is convinced that the angel is really a demon.  Sam is convinced otherwise.  Bobby intervened saying the only logical thing that can pull a soul out of the pit is an angel, from what he can tell nothing else can do that. Dean doesn’t understand, and he asked the age old question, if God really exists, why does he allow so many bad things to happen, and why does he care about me? I’m just a normal guy.

So I guess Sam was out at the gas station to buy Dean some pie when Ruby showed up.  She wanted to know if it was true about Dean being saved by an angel.  Sam said he believes so, so Ruby freaked out, because…demons are afraid of angels, of course.

Bobby confronted the boys about Olivia.  Apparently she hasn’t been returning his calls, so out they went to find what was wrong.  Inside they found her dead body and an EMF device, which meant that this case had to do with a spirit of some kind.  When they left, they tried to call all the other hunters they know, no one picked up their phone.  They even checked out some of their homes, all were dead.  Does this mean the only hunters left in the world are none other than the Winchesters?

Sam and Dean stop at a gas station, and heres where everything gets interesting. Everything around him gets freezing, which obviously meant there’s a ghost around, and guess who shows up behind Sam in the bathroom… That’s right! Agent Hendrickson from the previous seasons of Supernatural.  His spirit blamed Sam for what happened to him.  He got so angry that he began to beat up on Sammy!  Don’t fret though, Dean was close behind to know what was going on, and shot Hendrickson.

Meanwhile, Bobby is at his house when strange things began to happen to him as well.  The same signs as before, the room began to freeze over, strange sounds, then we saw who was haunting him.  Two evil twins…spooky.

After a few minutes, the brothers busted into Bobby’s place, weapons drawn.  They knew that whoever these spirits were were after hunters and the chances were that they had already gone after Bobby. (Which they have)  To find him faster, the boys split up.  Sam went outside to search, while Dean stayed in the house.

While Dean was scouting out the house, another familiar face showed up, Meg! She looked a lot differerent with longer hair and no make up.  Basically, this is the Meg that was inside the demon-infested Meg.  She blamed Dean for being cold and not even considering that there was an innocent girl inside that body.  He apologized, and of course she began beating him up.  He couldn’t shoot her because…come on! He already killed her once, and she’s complaning about it now…it would just be rude!  But seriously…these spirits are SELFISH, me me me me me.  Anyways:

So…oh yeah, Sam is outside searching for Bobby.  Bobby is somewhere in the trunk of a car being taunted by those two demon twins.  It took Sam quite a while to find him, but thanks to the fact that Ghosts make things freeze over, Sam found a popsicle car, and saved Bobby from being torn apart.

So when they are all somewhat safe, they all discovered that each of the spirits had a strange mark on a part of their body, and all the marks matched.  Bobby quickly rushed them down to his dungun, otherwise known as the panic room.  He said the mark they all saw was something called “The Mark of the Witness.”  Which is part of a seal that’s been broken.  There is a spell to put the souls to rest, but the seal itself has been broken, and there is no way to reverse that.

Since they can’t stay in the panic room the whole time, the boys had to leave to get the spell ready.  But they all knew once they stepped outside, there was going to be a lot of spirits trying to stop them.  The first one they saw was Ron.  Ron was the guy from the bank heist episode, he blamed Dean of course.  So Bobby shot him, and OFF THEY WENT.

Let the action begin!  Bobby started making the spell but it wasn’t all that easy, spirits everywhere were closing in on them, taunting their every move. They were doing pretty good at first, but then the spirits just came coming back faster and faster, the boys were losing ammo. But Bobby was able to say the spell, and off the spirits went.

In the end, the angel from last week’s episode showed up again.  He confirmed that the apocolypse is coming.  He said it was Lillith that brought the spirits back to haunt them. He said that if all the seals are broken, Lucifer will walk free.  No pressure guys!

Next week, it looks like Sam and Dean go Back to the Future! err…I mean past, I am positive that that episode is going to be very good.  Until next week, peace out!

CBS launched a new sitcom starring Jay Mohr today called “Gary Unmarried.”  Unlike a large sum of people, I actually enjoy Mohr’s work.  Especially his role in “Ghost Whisperer” with Jennifer Love Hewitt.  So it shouldn’t come to a surprise that I actually enjoyed this new series opener.

It’s a family sitcom about a single dad raising two kids, and going through the struggles that single parents do every day.  Yes there is a fake sounding laugh track, yes some of the jokes aren’t all that great, and yes, the acting was very noticibly bad in some parts, but I did have fun watching this.

It doesn’t compare to the other more popular family sitcoms such as “Full House” or “Family Matters”, or even “Everybody Loves Raymond.”  It does have its own unique quality that I actually like.  It has potential to be an alright show, no doubt, if they play their cards right.  We’ll see how it plays out next week, peace out.
