Prison Break: The Final Break Recap

Last week, we saw the explosive two-hour series finale of Prison Break. This week, we were treated with another Prison Break two hour special. Called “Prison Break: The Final Break.” The story started off with Sara getting hauled off to prison after she was finally married to Michael. She was arrested for murdering Christina. That’s where the story starts to feel more like Prison Break’s former spin-off show, Cherry Hill.

At the female-penitentiary, we are greeted by new characters. A few of the characters resembled a female version of T-Bag, named “Daddy” and of course Bellick, back when he was the king of Fox River. We also learn that our old friend, Gretchen was sharing the same prison.

Across the yard was the men’s side of the prison. In that side, T-Bag and General Cranst were currently residing in. Almost immediately they received word of Sara’s capture, and because the General was such a bitter old man, he put out a hit on Sara’s life. Apparently Gretchen was the General’s inside ‘man’ inside the other prison.

When Michael learned about the hit on his wife’s life, he decided he had no other choice, but to once again stage a break out. We started to see more of the side of Michael we knew in first season, the plotting side. He started going through newspaper clippings on the prison, and studied photographs. Though newspaper clippings can only get you so far, Michael had Lincoln and Sucre stake out the prison, and find out where all the security cameras were placed, to find a blind spot.

That’s where Mahone made his re-entrance. Apparently he was busy trying to get his old job back, but before they would allow that, he had to prove himself by spying on the brothers, which he told them about, to have them trust him while he really betrayed them. He went behind Michael and Lincoln’s back, and told Agent Wheatly, the head agent on the brother’s case, about what they were up to.

Wheatly acted upon Mahone’s intel, and installed a new security camera in Michael’s blind spot. This put a giant boulder in his break out plan, but alas, he had another solution. Drop onto the prison with a parachute to get Sara out of there. Meanwhile, when Sara’s inmates try to stab her, Gretchen stops the fight, killing the assailant, earning Sara’s trust. It seems Gretchen wants to escape with Sara, to give her daughter a gift she made on her birthday. Sara really had no choice in the matter but to allow Gretchen to tag along.

Again, it appears Mahone betrayed Michael by telling Wheatly about the parachuting plan. Well, it was night, and the parachutist seemed to descend right on schedule. Wheatly had his team ready to gun Michael down as soon as he landed, which they did. I knew as soon as he had guns pointed in Michael’s direction he had something else planned, which he did.

While everyone was keeping an eye on the parachute, Michael made his way into the prison. At the same time, Sara and Gretchen escaped the prison.  How? Apparently through an escape duct pipe. I wish it were that simple in the first season. Well Sara and Gretchen got outside, and immediately went to the church, because earlier, Michael sent her a decrypted message to “pray for us”. Unfortunately, Gretchen was caught just outside the church, while Sara continued to escape. Michael wasn’t too far behind, and also went into the church. They went into the basement of the church, where there was a sealed door, and they waited for T-Bag to come through.

Earlier, the gang found out in order to see this through, they would need some help from T-Bag. Lincoln told him they would pay him $5,000 to set a fire in the prison. Apparently a fire drill that T-Bag would set off would distract them from looking in Michael’s way, while he set off the real fire. When T-Bag’s money wasn’t wired, he went straight to the warden and told her Michael’s break out plan. She ordered all the fire alarms and any other alarms to be stopped which they did.

Michael sat there at the sealed door, and waited until the alarms were stopped, as he originally planned, seeing T-Bag was a rat. The stopping of the alarms allowed him to still set the fire without anyone noticing. He opened the sealed door, and went to their exit door. Unfortunately the door was also locked shut. The cutting of the alarms did not open that door, as he anticipated. There was only one solution left, he had to sacrifice himself.

With the last remaining smarts left in his head, Michael opened the power generator, and unplugged it, making the room dark. He then cut apart two wires in the generator. His last step was to connect the two wires, electrocuting himself, opening the doors and freeing Sara. Wheatly wasn’t too far behind, but it was too late…she was gone.

T-Bag was put in solitary confinement for aiding and embedding Sara’s escape. All along, Mahone realized he betrayed them, and he realized his loyalty was with that group. He gave Sara some paperwork, proving Michael was going to die anyway, due to the brain tumor that returned. On a boat, Lincoln and Sara watched Michael’s very heartwarming goodbye video. This ended the Prison Break story. At least his death felt more complete after watching this.

Well, it has been several weeks, even months since Prison Break went on hiatus, too long if you ask me, but it is back and better than ever. There are only five episodes left in the series.

Tonight’s episode kicked off with Lincoln finding an envelope at the doorstep. Inside were photos of their loved ones. This was a desperate threat by the General to speed them on their way retrieving Scylla. Meanwhile, Michael and Sara are somewhere in Arizona. Michael is still upset with Lincoln for taking a deal with the company, but Sara reassured him it was only to save his life. Out of nowhere, Michael and Sara are shot at. So obviously, they bolted, leaving their car behind.
Next we have Michael and Lincoln’s mother looking very creepy, trying to be evil. She wants her boys to understand what she’s trying to do. Maybe try to stop being evil, and they might listen to you.

Lincoln then got a call from Michael, they have a bit of an argument, and then Michael told him about how their mother was alive. So Michael and Sara made a deal with a truck driver to drive them to their next location, Miami, but the truck wouldn’t stop for the next 8 hours…what if they needed to use the bathroom?

Lincoln and Mahone tracked one of the chips to a house, to which they sneaked into, guns raised. The house was empty, but it had a nice picture of Lincoln’s mom. T-Bag and Self track one of the chips to another location. Apparently T-Bag’s soul is black, I would have never guessed. In the church, Mahone and the boys found out that the church was holding several semi-automatic weapons.

Back on the truck, Michael reminisced memories of his mother and the Millennium Falcon with Sara. Then the truck was pulled over by a police car. We learn that this “cop” was really another company killer. He killed the driver, and took off in the truck. Looks like Michael’s going to have to escape again.

Also on the road is the General in his limo speaking to a someone, which is when the man he was speaking to stopped the car, along with the driver, leaving the General stuck. Needless to say the General got a hold of his keys and started tearing at his seat belt, and then his limo exploded! Did his Macguiver maneuver work? Of course it did.

Lincoln met up with his mother, as expected, he got upset with her on the fact that she works for the same company that has been trying to kill them ever since the first season. But she said that in two days she can give him and Michael their lives back.

When we got back to Michael’s story, he has been busy setting up some neat Macguiver tricks and blew himself out of the truck. Then Sara and Michael ran for their lives. They found an abandoned warehouse to hide from the assassin. Michael came up from behind the man, and knocked him down. Though he was able to say he wasn’t working for the general…dun dun dun!

Then at the very last moments of this week’s episode, Lincoln went back to see his mother, which she strictly told him not to. So a sniper was set to shoot him. She gave the order, and then just about when his head would be blown away, the episode ended. What a cliffhanger!

PRISON BREAK: 4.14 – Just Business – Recap

I cannot believe how far we’ve gotten in Prison Break.  Already, we have gotten to the 14th episode.  Which means there are only 8 episodes left.  Personally, I hope that this is not the end of Prison Break, as much as I think they can end it perfectly this year, I’m starting to fear life without Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows.  Life just wouldn’t be complete, well there is LOST and 24, which will help.  Alright, on to tonights recap…

Previously on Prison Break, we learned of Don Self’s betrayal to the team.  Which was quite surprising, because I was actually rooting for him. Don just isn’t appealing when he’s evil. Well, this episode starts off much like the end of last week’s episode.  Michael and Self spoke once more on the phone. Again, Michael refused to give up the final piece of Scylla, so obviously getting annoyed, Self attempted to gas them out.  However, since Lincoln was already outside, he was able to locate Don, and bring him into the warehouse at gunpoint.

In the warehouse, Don tried to cover his own skin by saying it was never personal.  He explained that he was trying to sell Scylla to a buyer that also wants to see the Company burn, and is willing to pay 9 figures for Scylla.  Michael said he’d think about it, and let Don and Gretchen leave.  Outside, Sucre secretly hid in the back of Gretchens car, to eavesdrop for the brothers.  When the two got in the car, we see that they planted a unrealistic device in the warehouse to see everything that was happening inside.

After the car stopped, Don popped the trunk to grab Scylla, and left.  Secretly, Sucre was so deep in the trunk that he was unseen.  My question was why didn’t Sucre just grab Scylla then, while he was in the trunk? Anyways, he got out, and noticed they stopped at a motel, so he called everyone. In the motel, while watching the monitors, Don found the spot where Michael was hiding the chip.

At Rita’s house, a bible salesman came to the door, and right off the bat, T-Bag thought he was Company, so he knocked him out.  Even though T-Bag was convinced, the so called “Company” agent was pretty convincing in playing a bible salesman.  Everything about him seemed legit, his wallet was filled with christian cards, he had a military ring that he swore was from his dead son, he even finished a verse T-Bag began reciting, but in the end, he was an agent of the Company.  He fooled T-Bag into believing him, which was a tough task, but in the end, Bagwell was down.

At a diner, Mahone met up with his former collegues to discuss Scylla.  He met up with Agent Wheeler from the second season. Wheeler wants proof against the company, so if everything went well in tonights episode, Mahone had nothing to worry about.

Cue tonights plan, it was a last minute plan, but still pretty smart.  Sucre and Sara got to the hotel and figured out which room Gretchen and Self were in.  When the manager called to warn them, Gretchen left the room, only to be attacked by Sucre.  Outside, Lincoln shot a gas canaster into Self’s room, forcing him to leave.  He decided to go through the fire escape, which collapsed (thanks to Michael.) Michael grabbed Scylla and left.  Though it wasn’t long before Michael started having symptoms again, and fainted.  Don found Michael right away, and stole back Scylla, and headed towards the warehouse.  Michael was then abducted by the company.

At the warehouse, Don quickly found the final piece of Scylla, and was off to sell it.  Meanwhile, Michael was being treated by some doctors, we later see the General was there every second, making sure everything is going as planned.  Finally, Self handed Scylla to Vican.  Once he was satisfied, Self shot Vican, out of greed. He wanted more money.  At the Diner, Wheeler said the Attourney General is willing to hear him out, but in reality, he was being arrested.

Lincoln showed up at Company headquarters to see Michael.  The General took him to see his brother, and offered him what looked like a job in order to save Michael’s life.  After a moment of thinking, it seems Lincoln is concidering it…anything to help out Michael…even if it means joining the very corporation he set out to destroy?  Very cool episode this week, I cannot wait for the next episode!

PRISON BREAK: 4.13 – Deal or No Deal – Recap

I’m sorry I haven’t written any recaps in a while.  The past week has been hectic, because I was in the process of moving.  Today was actually my second day in the new apartment, and I am up to speed on Prison Break, and here is the review.

Last week on Prison Break, the boys outsmarted the General, and got a hold of Scylla.  What they didn’t know was Don Self was actually evil the entire time, plotting against them.  Oh how I love the plot twists in this show.  In tonight’s episode, the gang was still upset about Don’s betrayal, and were trying to think of a way to get out of their predicament.

To cover his own skin, Self called his boss up, and told him he was shot by the brothers.  Seriously, who wouldn’t believe a government agent over a bunch of convicts?  Meanwhile, the General is still complaining about his precious Scylla missing.

At the warehouse, Michael is taking a close look at what looks like a super-tiny computer chip.  After he hid it in the bathroom, Michael had another sick moment, and collapsed.  His brother, as always, was there to catch his fall.  Lincoln wanted to give Michael medical help, but they all were aware that they had to run.  Which was a good idea, because minutes later, Homeland Security showed up to arrest them all.  When Don’s boss called Michael, he told them all to turn themselves in, or he’d hunt them all down like animals.

So, understandably, the gang started to freak out.  They wanted to just make a run for it, but Michael told them all they came this far.  All they had to do was find a way to prove Self was the traitor.  Meanwhile, Gretchen’s sister called her up, and said her daughter’s been in an accident.  Gretchen knew better.  She knew there was a man there pointing a gun at her sisters face.  That man was Don Self, telling her to come home.

When Gretchen arrived home, gun drawn, she ran into Self and T-Bag also with guns drawn.  She had no choice, she had to give up her weapon.  Don was there to have Gretchen help him out finding a new buyer for Scylla. Right off the bat, she told them she was supposed to meet up with Scofield and Burrows, which in turn gave Self an idea.

At the secret location, where the boys were meant to meet up with Gretchen, federal agents started pulling up, so everyone had to bolt.  Everyone but Lincoln got away, he was taken away in handcuffs.  Oh no, not again, Lincoln! Anyways, Linc tries to tell the agents that arrested him that Self was the true culprit, but again, they don’t want to listen to a word he said.

Later on, Senator Conrad walked in and explained to Lincoln that there was evidence in what he was trying to say, but he would need everyone to come in and make statements.  So Lincoln called his brother and explained the situation.  Michael came by later in the episode to hear them out, but he could clearly see there was no real mission.  That was when Stanton, Don’s boss, pulled a gun on them both, but was quickly shot by an agent of the Company.  He told them the General wants a word.  Meanwhile, Gretchen and Self met up with the new buyer of Scylla, he began to inspect it.

Sucre got to the warehouse, and saved the brothers by putting a gun to the back of the agent’s head.  Lincoln took that time to steal his gun, and shoot him with it.  They also put a gun on Senator Conrad, but he explained that it was Stanton’s idea to have them killed, so they let him go. They meet up with Sara outside, but Mahone had already left.

Back to Don, when the buyer got back to Don, he told them that Scylla was incomplete, there was a missing piece.  Remember that computer chip hid in the beginning of the episode?  It was Michael’s leverage, he stole a piece just in case things went sour.  That’s when he got a call from Don demanding the chip.  Michael’s final lines in the episode – “Come and get it.”

Last week, we learned that Michael was in heavy need of surgery.  Even though he stated that he only needed two days, Sara said his safety was the more important thing. In tonights episode, despite all the build up of Michael’s health issues, he continues to work, against the doctors orders. He is willing to give his life to stop the company.

In tonight’s episode, the boys have to find a way into a highly secure room.  Designed so no human can break in, if one is too heavy, or is radiating body heat, or making sounds over ten decibals, an alarm sounds. So thanks to Hollywood, Michael decided to reinact the scene from Mission Impossible, where Tom Cruise hangs down  on wires. Not really, he comes up with a more elaborite, less cliche plan.

Meanwhile, planning to swipe the General’s final card, Gretchen dresses up like a schoolgirl and sends pictures of herself to the General, telling him to meet her.  Because, you know, he really needs a younger looking girl.  I mean, come on, he is 1000 years old! I don’t care if he says he is 63. When the General met up with schoolgirl version of Gretchen, she began to act seductive and removed his jacket.  Then she scanned it for the card to which he caught her red handed.  After begging for her life, and mentioning that the General was her baby daddy, the General let her go, but warned her never to come near him again.

Back at the warehouse, Michael reels everyone in on the big plan.  They have to break through two walls, one of concrete, and another, of glass. Now they have to do both of these without making much of a sound. To distract the heat sensors, they got liquid nitrogen. The plan was set to motion, so the team went to work.

At Gate, still suspicious that his secretary is a fed, T-Bag asked her to remove her jacket, to see if there is a gun.  She never budged, but T-Bag was called into his boss’s office, and offered a week get-a-way cruise as a reward.  T-Bag turned it down, saying he had more important things to do, but you could see on his face that he was actually starting to like his new life as Cole Pfeiffer. Knowing that his secretary was listening in, T-Bag called Gretchen and set up a fake meeting, for her to report to Self.  Later in the episode, his secretary and self get caught by the Asian man looking for Scylla.

Later, the boys arrived at Gate, ready to get to work.  This is where the intensity builds, and keeps me watching the show. Using teamwork, the guys broke through the concrete wall.  Most of the time I didn’t know how they would get through it without setting off alarms.  I love it when they keep you hanging.  Anyways, once they got through the first wall, they really had to be careful.  With carefully constructed wires, the boys started to make a bridge, using the liquid nitrogen to distract the sensors. It was truly brilliant. Sucre had a little accident, but quickly recovered, and soon it was Mike’s turn.

Why Michael had to do it, I’m not sure.  Clearly the man is unstable, but he is, and always will be the hero, so lets give him some screen time.  Once they made it through the first wall, and made a neat bridge, Michael had to get through the glass wall.  Remember Catwoman in Batman?  How she cut a circle in the glass and just pulled it out? It was a lot like that.  Michael cut the circle, shot it with liquid nitrogen, and pushed the glass in, and he was in. And just like a scene from Indiana Jones, Michael was about to grab Scylla when the alarm was set off, alarming the General. I KNEW he should have brought that bag of sand!

PRISON BREAK: 4.10 – The Legend – Recap

004

The last time we left off our heroes, Brad Bellick gave his life for the team. It was sad.

So Michael and Don held a secret meeting with Gretchen.  The last time we left her off, it looked like she was back to no good joining up with her boyfriend, the General.  But now, she told them that Scylla was being moved.  So is she a double agent? If so, why not tell the guys about joining the company again?

At the warehouse, more hidden clues are showing up in the pages of the bird book.  Letters, the first three letters found were C, M, and E, obviously spelling out, “See 003me.”  Michael gathered more letters and spelled out the name “David Baker.” Which is who needed to be contacted. So they began to google him.

At Gate, T-Bag’s secretary handed him Gretchens fingerprints and background info.  She explained that she was clean, that there were no mentions of anyone on the team, including Whistler.  T-Bag went wide-eyed when he heard her say Whistlers name.  She tried to cover herself by saying Michael said it once, but T-Bag knew better.  His boss then stopped him, asking him to present to a group, using his legendary sales record techniques.

0021At the warehouse, Michael’s condition returned.  He didn’t bleed from the nose, nor did he get shaky and confused, he simply fainted. So Dr. Sara had to rush him to the hospital, hopefully to tell us all whats wrong with him.  He had a quick cat scan, and the doctors asked him to wait for the results, Michael wanted to leave, but Sara asked him to stay. His safety was her only concern. When the police showed up, Michael decided it was time to go, and asked the doctor to call them with results.

Mahone was the one to visit David Baker.  Apparently, David Baker was a ‘Vincent Price’ impersonator, did anyone hear his voice? Anyways, Mahone was there to ask him for help.  He said he worked for the company, but David Baker quickly figured out the truth, as agents from the Company began to surround the building. Mahone had to leave, but before he got away, Baker’s wife slipped him some information on Scylla.

At Gate, Lincoln and Sucre were trying to figure out what to do next when Sucre accidentally stepped on a explosive trigger, if he moves just a tiny inch, a giant boulder would drop from above, and they would have to run away from it with an incredible adventure score…or blow up.  Lincoln told Sucre to hold on as he got Gretchen to help.  She said she would have to manually de-trigger the bomb.

Back at headquarters, Michael and Mahone were looking at the information Baker’s wife gave him, and realized the land mine was also a trigger for an alarm.  So in a flash of lightning, Mahone got from headquarters to Gate, and told Gretchen to stop what she was doing.  Then found a manual overdrive to turn off the trigger for twenty seconds.  My question was, why didn’t Linc think of that, there was a box on the wall, and no one thought to see what it was? Anyways, after a bit of crying, Sucre stepped off the bomb, and he was fine.

T-Bag, back at Gate, took a look at his secretary’s file.  He called a number in the file, which was answered by Don Self.  Earlier in the episode, we learned she worked with Homeland Security, hopefully we will learn more about this in the weeks ahead.

Back at the warehouse, the team takes a moment of silence to say goodbye to Bellick, just before he is shipped to his mother for burial.  Sucre made the phone call to his mother, as promised.  Sara told Michael she got the call from his doctor.  He has a tumor, and needs to have surgery right away.  Michael explained he needed two days, but Sara told him it had to be one, or he runs the risk of dying.

PRISON BREAK: 4.09 – Greatness Achieved – Recap

It’s been a while since we last left off our heroes, and I am just glad to see that it is back and moving. The gang had Wyatt in their grasp, and Lincoln beat him to a bloody pulp to call the General, but he wouldn’t budge. Michael continued to think up his brilliant plan of retrieving Scylla, but without Gretchen’s half of the book, it could be very difficult. At Gate, T-Bag snuck the gang into the small closet space, so they could all get to work.

409_greatness-office_0011-500x333

After Gretchen killed Blauner, the Gate worker who caught T-Bag as a fraud in the previous episode, things are starting to look shady at Gate as an investigation began.  A federal agent asked T-Bag tricky questions, but since T-Bag is sly, he got himself out of that mess. Sooner or later, however, T-Bag knew that his cover would be blown if they continued to dig deeper.  So he thought up a brilliant plan, he would take the fraud he was caught with, and frame it on Blauner.  Since he knew the company didn’t want to risk being audited by IRS agents, it sorted itself out.

Back at the warehouse, when everyone else was away, Mahone decided it was about time for him and Wyatt to have a little one-on-one time.  He wanted revenge for what Wyatt did to his son, and his way of revenge – slow and excruciating torment.  Later, after he had his fun, Mahone brought Wyatt to a pier, and pushed him in, holding a block of cement.  Seemed a little cartoony to me, but I liked it.

Don Self put together a fake recording of Wyatt, telling the General that everyone had been killed.  He did this by putting together bits and pieces of when Wyatt was talking earlier, it was quite ingenious.  The General bought it when he was called, but he still wants Scylla moved.  After the General got the call Gretchen showed up with a gun raised.  With his mind tricks, the General convinced Gretchen that she was still his girl, and then the two shared a nice smooch.  (I think I threw up a little in my mouth.) So now we are led to believe that Gretchen is back in the company as the General’s number two girl.

So in Gate’s basement, the problem is a giant pipe that runs through the room.  There’s no way above or below, so the only way is through.  They were able to stop the water from flowing, but only for an hour, so they could cut through.  They were going to place a second pipe in between the the first one, so they could simply crawl through.  Michael had another one of his mysterious problems, this time it got worse.  He got really dizzy, and had to have Sucre cover for him.

409_greatness_0117-500x3331

Well the job was almost done, all they had to do was push the pipe through, but it was too heavy, Lincoln and Bellick jumped in to guide it to the other side.  At the very last second, the support beam collapsed, and Bellick sacrificed himself to make sure the team got the job done!  Wow, Prison Break has gone a long way from its first introduction of Bellick, the bully prison guard that kills inmates cats, to a crying wimp, to a hero! What an explosive come back for Prison Break after it’s short hiatus!

PRISON BREAK: 4.08 – The Price – Recap

Posted in Prison Break on October 21, 2008 by awsumdave

It seems before Lincoln was sent away to Fox River, he may not have been guilty, but he was one heck of a trouble-maker.  Thanks to a flashback, it is shown right as the episode kicked off that in the past, he and his partner in crime were staging a car accident in order to steal an important briefcase inside the others car.  His partner shot the two people in the car, don’t worry though, it was self defense.

So last time we left Michael off, he got a call from Gretchen.  Tonight we learn that the two will be partners, but I have a feeling that Michael really doesn’t like that plan.  Later, Michael told Sara that Gretchen was still alive, to which Sara has some flashback moments showing us Gretchen flogging her, giving her the scars we saw in the fourth season premiere.

Without his handy device that makes his character unique, Roland wasn’t handling things very well.  He texted Wyatt, giving up the brothers location for some money. What’s that little thing about working for the government? Oh yeah, don’t associate with terrorists!…or killers…whatever he is.  I never really liked Roland’s character, I thought maybe some day his character might get better, but this move clearly put the word “stupid” on his forehead.

Remember that Asian guy looking for Scylla? Gave T-Bag three days to obtain it or he’d shoot him?  He came back this episode, just about pulled the trigger, when Gretchen offered him a deal he couldn’t refuse.  She’ll get it, and then walk away with $125 million dollars.  She then offered T-Bag 25 million to T-Bag.  Gretchen told T-Bag that Scylla was way more then just the “company’s black book.”

Thanks to the flashback in the beginning, Michael and Lincoln started up their plan of the week.  A car crash to steal the final card.  Michael and Sara posed as EMT’s to get close to the General, and the card.  Lincoln and Sucre were the ones that were going to crash into the General’s limo.  It was all set, but silly Roland had to go and tell Wyatt exactly what and where everything was going down, so their plan fails, terribly. Wyatt came out of his car, and started firing on Lincoln and Sucre, actually hitting Sucre! So everyone had to bail. Meanwhile Don Self told Sara that Gretchen wanted to meet with her at a motel, to even things out between them.

At the warehouse the team rushed Sucre in so Dr. Sara could play her role as doctor again, and get to work! Michael noticed that the only way Wyatt could have known where the team was is if he was told by someone in their group.  Michael found Roland who is a terrible liar when it comes to covering his butt.  Michael let it slide, he obvioulsy knew Roland was guilty.  He handed Roland his laptop and told him to do some work for him.  Sara finally removed the bullet from Sucre’s gunshot wound.

Don called Michael asking where Roland was, his tracker had been turned off.  The team looked for him, sure enough, the man escaped.  Where to? A secret meeting with Wyatt, who shot him.  Kind of a no-brainer from the start, can’t say you didn’t deserve it, Roland.  The guys finally find the two and attack Wyatt, but alas, it was too late for Roland.  Even though he sold them out, Michael stayed with him until the lights left his eyes. Very sad.

Sara took this time to meet up with Gretchen at the motel.  She said she wanted to tie up some loose ends with her, so she offered her back for Sara to whip.  That wasn’t enough for Sara, so she picked up a knife instead, and very lightly started to cut Gretchen’s throat.  She told her that she would pay for torturing her. After being informed of the situation, the General knows Michael and the boys are trying to get his card, so he ordered Scylla to be moved. Moved? Where?

On the preview for the upcomming episodes, we see that Michael will faint, probably from whatever is happening to him, and there will be a death…dun dun dun! I can’t wait. Can you?

Last week on Prison Break, the gang got the fourth piece of Scylla, while betting on some horses.  Mahone got arrested by the police, and Michael doing what he does best, put together a plan to break Mahone out.  T-Bag found an 8×10 sized closet, that is apparently important, then he got caught as a fraud. Then at the end, he had a run in with Gretchen.

This episode kicked right off with T-Bag tied to a chair. After carving his good arm up with a knife, Gretchen was in the mood to kill him if he didn’t work with her, so obviously he had no choice in the matter.

At the warehouse, the boys found out that the next cardholder they are after was at Las Vegas, so that was their next move.  Meanwhile Bellick got a quick call from the secretary at Gate, telling him that she knew where T-Bag was.  So the plan was Roland, Lincoln, Sucre, and Sara were off to Las Vegas, while Michael, Mahone, and Bellick were off to find T-Bag.  Roland took this time to go insane about Las Vegas. YA WOOHOO VEGAS, BABAY YEAAAH! ~ My interpretation of Roland

Meanwhile, the General ordered the hit on Don’s life…

So Michael, Mahone, and Bellick fell right into a trap.  T-Bag stopped them all at gunpoint, and ordered them all into a van to go to an undisclosed location.  Mahone, being the rebellion that he is, decided that this is where he gets off, taking a death defying jump off the building, landing safely below.

Back at Whistler’s place, T-Bag had everyone tied up.  He demanded that Michael figure out what the pages of the bird book meant. He gave Michael a ton of pages from the book, and told him to put the puzzle pieces together.  First, he had to find the corner pieces.

While Michael was doing his thing, he checked his ankle real quick, showing us he still had his tracker tied to his foot.  While T-Bag was away, Gretchen grabbed him, and told him about the trackers, and to make sure Michael didn’t know she was in on the whole thing.  Meanwhile, Don met up with Mahone.  Mahone found out where Michael and Bellick were being held, and he said he’d personally take care of it.

Wyatt was just about to kill Don, when he found his house completely empty, he informed the General, but the General was preoccupied.  Don was at his office, waiting to talk to him.  Basically, Don told the General that if he winds up dead, there are documents that he sent to several people in the higher ups that if opened will lead straight to the General, so he said back off.

Michael finished his project, and found out the pages put together don’t make a map, but make a blue print. Maybe to remember the blue print, Michael should tattoo it onto his body.  Anyways, it’s a blue print to Gate Corporation. So Michael and T-Bag left for Gate, which seemed very empty when they got there.  They went straight for the 8×10 room, ripped open the floor, and opened a hatch.  The hatch led to a trap set up by Michael and Mahone, who locked him in a room. Left to get caught by the police.

Not for long I presume, because Gretchen gave Michael a call saying hello, and to make sure T-Bag gets out, or he’s not getting the second half of the bird book.

Meanwhile, in Las Vegas:

Lincoln told Dr. Sara about Michael’s nosebleeds.  He told her that their mother had the same thing at Michael’s age and that she died of an aneurysm.  That doesn’t sound too good for Michael.

So the plan was on.  Sara was bait for the cardholder.  She told him that one of her goals while in Vegas was to apparently snap a picture in a hotel room. Trying to get him to invite her to his room, but he blew her off.  Then the bartender told her that the older man was going around hitting on men.  So the gang decided that Sucre would be gay in order to get the card.

Sucre was able to get up to the old man’s room pretty easily.  There the group was able to get the fifth card, and we then learned that the cardholder just wanted Sucre to sleep with his wife, cause he can’t. So they got the fifth card easily, but Roland thought he’d try his luck with the slots.  Apparently his magical device can make him win slots too.  I gotta get my hands on one of these things. Can I find them on E-bay? Well it wasn’t long before the security guards came by, and confiscated his device, and kicked him out.

So now the team are in big trouble.  Without the device, they can’t get the last card.  He said he can rebuild it, but that would take months, which they don’t have.  My guess? They might have to break into the casino to get the device back.  Also, whats going to happen to Michael?  I sure hope he turns out okay.  Well we’ll just have to wait for the next episode to find out more.
